Calcium Silicate

Calcium silicate ("calsil") insulation is used for high-temperature pipes and equipment and for firestopping applications. Fabricated calsil products are noted for their high compressive strength, corrosion-inhibiting properties, and high-temperature structural integrity. They can withstand continuous temperatures up to 1200°F (Type I, for pipe and block) or 1700°F (Type II, fire endurance boards). DI offers a wide range of calsil products that will fit your project needs.
