Insulation cement is used to create a finished surface over insulation surfaces and can also be used as a general purpose cement. Insulation cement comes in various types such as heat transfer cement. Heat transfer cement eliminates any air cavities that exist between the tracer and process pipe, allowing heat to be transferred more efficiently via conduction.
