HVAC Slide Gates

HVAC slide gates, also called blast or duct gates, are used in an air movement system to divert air to other branches in the system. Slide gates are typically made of galvanized steel or aluminum and are often used in dust collection type air systems. Blast gates can be either full or half gates. Full blast gates are used to open and close branch ducts. Half blast gates are used when adding a gate to an existing branch duct and add no internal obstructions.
