Alpha Maritex style 1500-2-SS is a fiberglass fabric impregnated with a specially formulated silicone rubber designed to meet the rigid requirements for use in nuclear reactors. This special high-temperature, flame retardant silicone rubber provides greater life and improved resistance to abrasion, flexing, tearing and puncture. Alpha Maritex style 1500-2-SS was specifically designed as a low cost, light-duty product for preparing high-temperature (500 deg F) removable pads, flange and valve covers.
