Other Mastics

Industrial & commercial insulation mastics are designed to protect insulation from physical, chemical, water, and weather damage. There are two main types of insulation mastics: vapor retarder (vapor barrier) and weather barrier (breather). Vapor retarder mastics are commonly used in cryogenic and low-temperature applications or severe chemical environments. They are fire resistive and can have low permeance depending on their composition.
