Calcium Silicate

Calcium silicate (CalSil) insulation is a high-temperature, high-strength thermal insulation characterized by its crystalline formation. This crystalline structure is what gives calcium silicate its insulating properties. CalSil insulation is used to insulate high-temperature pipes and equipment and can also be used for fire endurance applications. Fabricated CalSil products are noted for their high compressive strength, corrosion-inhibiting properties, and high-temperature structural integrity. These products can withstand continuous temperatures up to 1200°F (Type 1, for pipe and block) or 1700°F (Type II, fire endurance boards). As a calcium silicate insulation supplier, Distribution International offers a range of CalSil products that will fit your project needs.
