Distribution International Announces Senior Leadership Changes and New Divisional Structure

Similar to companies worldwide, Distribution International leaders have spent the last two months working closely with our associates to respond to an economic crisis no one could have predicted. At DI, we’ve acted thoughtfully and decisively to make changes in the way we operate to ensure the health and safety of our associates and customers.

One thing that will not change is our commitment to delivering exceptional service to our customers. Today, we are announcing exciting leadership changes and a realigned divisional structure which will deliver enhanced safety, performance, quality, and service across our footprint of over 90 branch locations in North America.

Structured for Exceptional Service Delivery

The changes detailed below enable us to capitalize on the talent and strength of our senior management team by expanding the roles of four proven leaders with decades of distribution experience. All changes are effective June 1.

U.S. East and Silvercote Division

Joey Viselli will become Senior Vice President and General Manager of the U.S. East and Silvercote Division. The U.S. East comprises our mechanical insulation business in the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic regions (formerly part of our Coastal Division). His role also includes leading our Silvercote metal building insulation business and Railcar operations. Joey has more than 30 years of B2B and B2C experience, including leadership roles at Knauf Insulation, Procter & Gamble, and Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company. He is currently the Senior Vice President and General Manager of Silvercote and Railcar.

U.S. West and Crossroads Division

Korey Haun will become Senior Vice President and General Manager of the U.S. West and Crossroads Division. The U.S. West comprises our mechanical insulation business in the Northwest and Southwest (formerly part of our Coastal Division), and our Rockies region. Korey’s new role will continue to include our strong Crossroads mechanical insulation business in Canada. Korey has more than 20 years of industry sales and operational leadership experience in the distribution and fabrication of commercial and industrial insulation products and accessories in Canada. He is currently the President of Crossroads.

U.S. Central Division

Brett Hankey will become Senior Vice President and General Manager of the U.S. Central Division, leading the Great Lakes, Gulf, Houston, Midwest, and Sabine regions. Brett has more than 20 years of commercial, operational, and strategic leadership experience in industrial distribution and manufacturing from his time at DI, HD Supply and GE. He is currently the Senior Vice President of Operations. Over the past three years, Brett has been instrumental in building and implementing our successful strategies in the areas of safety, supply chain, logistics, inventory management and pricing.

Corporate Operations

Lance Devin will become Chief Operations Officer, leading the functions that consistently deliver on DI's promise of exceptional service: Safety, Strategic Sourcing, Inventory Management, Purchasing, Fabrication, Logistics, Marketing, and Pricing. Lance has nearly 20 years of operational leadership and sales experience in distribution, project-based business, and manufacturing, serving in leadership roles at DI, HD Supply, and The Home Depot. He is currently the Senior Vice President and General Manager of the Central Division.

Former Coastal Division Leadership

Robert Case, Senior Vice President and General Manager of the current Coastal Division, is leaving the company and returning to the electrical distribution industry where he worked for 25 years prior to joining DI. He leaves behind a strong legacy of accomplishment and contributions during the four years he led the Coastal team. We wish Robert continued success.

Building A Future Where We Are Safer. Stronger. Together.

While we are making changes in the way we are organized, our strategy and commitment to service remain constant. The entire DI Family is grateful for the opportunity to serve our customers with excellence and stands ready to do so, now and always.
