REQUEST A QUOTE

To access the Request a Quote screen from your Account Dashboard:

  1. Click the menu path: ACCOUNT DASHBOARD --> Request Quote.

    • info-icon  Your first and last name, phone number, and email address should auto-populate from your profile. The Shipping Address will default to the address selected when logging in.
  2. (Optional) If a different address is needed, click on the  Shipping Address field and select the desired address from the list. request-a-quote-shipping-address-highlighted-ss
  3. (Optional) If the desired address is not available in the list, select the  Address Not Available?  checkbox and manually complete the address fields. request-a-quote-address-not-available-checked-ss
  4. (Required) Enter the quantity in the Qty field for the product you would like quoted.
    • info-icon You can search for and enter products using the DI Part #, Customer Part #, or Manufacturer Part # fields. request-a-quote-part-number-row-ss
    • hint-icon The DI Part #, Manufacturer Part #, and Customer Part # (if available) can be found on any product list or product detail page throughout the site. If you need to leave the Request a Quote form to search for the product or any time before the request is completed, click the save-button-ss button at the bottom left of the table to save your progress. You can also copy the DI Part # on the product list or product detail page and paste it into the DI Part # field on the Request a Quote form.
  5. Begin typing a value into the desired field. For this example,  DI Part #  is used.
    • info-icon As you begin to type a value into the desired field, available products from the site will display in a list. request-a-quote-part-number-field-ss
  6. If the desired product displays in the list, you can select it.
    • info-icon  When the product is selected from the list, it will auto-populate information available for the product including the DI Part #, Manufacturer Part #, Item Description and Unit of Measure.request-a-quote-line-one-filled-ss
    • hint-icon When the product information auto-populates, the fields will become grayed out. Use the Clear refresh-icon-ss icon at the end of the row as needed to clear the product information.
  7. (Optional) Enter any additional details specific to the product in the Comment field on the line. request-a-quote-comment-field-ss
    • info-icon When the Customer Part # field is used to search, selecting a product from its list will auto-populate all information including the Customer Part #, DI Part #, Manufacturer Part #, Item Description and Unit of Measure.request-a-quote-line-two-filled-ss
    • warning-icon If you are not able to find the desired product while searching the site, you can still enter the line in the Request a Quote form. Be as descriptive as possible for the product in the Item Description field.
  8. (Required) Enter the quantity in the Qty field for the product you would like quoted.
  9. (Required) Enter a description describing the product in the Item Description field.
  10. (Required) Enter the UoM in the Unit of Measure field.
  11. (Optional) Enter any additional details specific to the product in the Comment field on the line. request-a-quote-line-three-highlighted-ss
    • hint-icon To add additional products to the quote, repeat steps 4 - 11 on additional lines.
    • info-icon  The Request a Quote form defaults to 10 available lines. If additional lines are needed for products, click the add-row-button-ss button at the bottom left of the table.
  12. (Optional) Once all products are entered, select the appropriate Requested Ship Date.
  13. (Optional) Enter a Job Name/Reference number.
  14. (Optional) Enter any comments you would like to submit with the request that pertains to the entire quote in the Comments field at the bottom right of the form.
  15. Once completed, click the submit-quote-request-button-ss button at the bottom of the screen. request-a-quote-form-second-half-ss
    • info-icon Once your request is submitted, a Distribution International associate will reach out to you.
