Aeroseal is a fast-tack contact adhesive specially formulated for bonding Aerocel insulating materials firmly together. Aeroseal creates strong seams and butt joints that will operate at temperatures up to 257 deg F. Aeroseal may also be used for adhering sheet insulation to flat and curved surfaces that will operate at temperatures to 200 deg F. Aeroseal adhesive (amber or black) is also ideal for use with other materials like metal, cork board, polyurethane foam, rigid PVC sheet, formica, melamine board and rubber sheet. Aeroseal adhesive has a high water vapor resistance and weathering resistance to prevent moisture from penetrating joints, and forms a permanent bond to the applied materials for long lasting service. • Maximum service temperatures: -20 deg F to 257 deg F (piping), 200 deg F (sheets/rolls), • tack time = 1-3 minutes (dry to touch), • dry time = immediate, • Aeroseal seams can be sealed with Protape or coated with Aerocoat immediately, • coverage = 200 ft2/gallon, • shelf life = 1 year, • VOC content = 417 g/L, • Colors - amber or black, • Sizes = 1/2 pint (brush-top), pint (brush-top), quart, gallon.Standards/Certifications: ASTM E84
