Pipe insulation hanger supports are typically made from calcium silicate and fiberglass to provide weight support of the pipe at each hanger point. Calcium silicate is a high temperature insulation with high compressive strength, offering excellent support to piping systems. This type of insulation is noncombustible and has excellent structural strength. Calcium silicate pipe insulation hanger supports are predominantly made in 18” lengths and can be covered with ASJ (All-service jacketing) with SSL adhesive tape.
