The MT-A7717 is a 1.6 mil aluminum tape with high resistance. It is coated with a solvent based acrylic adhesive with superior flame retardancy. The aluminum material allows maximum conformability of vapor barrier covering fiberglass conduits and FSK systems. Its low rate of water vapor transmission provides remarkable sealing and patching results, making it an excellent vapor barrier. Its resistance to aging is good, both indoors and outdoors. With fast adhesion qualities superior to normal temperatures of use, it offers good results at low temperatures. UL 723 listed.
