Perlite pipe covering is a high temperature, hydrophobic thermal pipe insulation made of expanded perlite. Perlite inhibits corrosion on the outside surfaces of pipe and equipment. It can be used in applications with temperature ranges from ambient up to 1200°F. Perlite pipe covering is available as sectional, quad segments, HEX segments, and curved radius block (CRB).
