Insul-Mate aluminum tee covers are precision formed and are sized to meet ASTM C-450 specifications. They are formed from 0.024 in thick, 1100 alloy, O-temper aluminum which is coated with a baked on epoxy paint on the inside to resist electrolytic decomposition and a proprietary composite polyester resin paint system on the outside to resist oxidation.
