3M Nextel fabric AF-14, is woven from Nextel 312 high-temperature continuous ceramic oxide fiber and is designed to withstand continuous high-temperatures. It can act as a flame barrier and due to the unique properties of Nextel 312 fiber, these products outperform the useful limits of many other high-temperature textiles. Our Nextel fabric AF-14 is often used as a component in flame barriers, high-temperature seals. It may also be used as a reinforcement for ceramic matrix composites (CMC) and polymer matrix composites (PMC).
