Dec. 18, 2020 – Distribution International, Inc. (DI) today announced the acquisition of Total-R, Inc., Western Canada’s largest metal building insulation (MBI) laminator and the only MBI laminator physically located in Western Canada.

Total-R’s operations are being combined with DI’s Silvercote business, the North American MBI lamination and distribution industry leader with a network of 14 branches across the U.S. and Canada.

As the result of this acquisition, DI emerges as the only MBI laminator and distributor to truly cover all markets in the United States and Canada.

The combined operations will be led by Joey Viselli, Senior Vice President and General Manager, Silvercote and U.S. East Division. Darren Resch, founder of Total-R, will assume the newly created role of Vice President of Sales for Silvercote Canada.

Total-R will operate under the brand name Total-R, Powered by Silvercote.

The combination of Total-R and Silvercote, together with the outstanding Crossroads C&I business, firmly establish Distribution International as the largest commercial and industrial insulation fabricator and distributor in Canada.
